LETS TALK ADOPTION FEES
We are often asked on posts how much our adoption fee is, so here is an explanation. The way our adoption donations works is rather different to other rescues. We don't have a set adoption fee as such. We ask for a donation of the adopters choice to a certain degree, although we do have a minimum donation amount for this. Our adopters are very welcome to donate more than our minimum donation amount, and very often do, which we are extremely grateful for. All of our cats and kittens are fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and up to date with flea and worm treatment when adopted (or pre arranged for a later date if kittens are too young for neutering) and our minimum adoption donation covers less than half of these costs. We have kept our minimum adoption fee as low as we can due to the fact that we insist on kittens going as pairs. OUR MINIMUM ADOPTION DONATION PER CAT/KITTEN IS £70. Our pre-adoption checks
We take the welfare and safety of every cat in our care very seriously, so all potential adopters are required to complete our pre-adoption checks before an adoption can go ahead. This includes a home check, which is simply an opportunity for us to make sure the home environment is suitable and safe for the cat, and to answer any questions you may have about the adoption process. All successful adopters must also sign an Adoption Agreement, confirming their commitment to providing the cat with a safe, loving and permanent home. These checks are an important part of responsible rehoming and are there to protect both our cats and their new families. We are always happy to offer guidance and support throughout the process — our aim is to make sure we find the right match and give every cat the best possible chance of a happy, settled future.
Rehoming Kittens
Please note our kitten rehoming requirements: To give our kittens the very best start in their new homes, we only rehome kittens in pairs. Kittens need the companionship of another kitten to learn, play, develop appropriate social behaviours and feel secure, and many of the kittens in our care are born within the rescue and have formed strong bonds with their siblings from birth. We also do not rehome kittens into families where there are children under 5 years of age. This is to ensure that our young and sometimes vulnerable kittens are placed in an environment that is appropriate for their needs and development. We appreciate that these requirements may not suit every family, but they are based firmly on the welfare of our kittens and there are no exceptions. We are always happy to discuss your circumstances, answer any questions and help you find the most suitable cat or cats for your family.

Kittens
We currently have a ridiculous amount of kittens in our care and these are just some of them. Some are almost ready for their new homes, some are far too young to go anywhere yet and some are growing up and getting left behind We do only adopt our kittens out as pairs (or more ) unless for some reason, a kitten can't go with others. We will also consider a single kitten if there is already a young cat in the home. For that reason, have kept our minimum adoption fee as low as we can at £70 per cat/kittens. We also have a rule of no very young children, this is to safeguard the kittens wellbeing. All our kittens are fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
